What does the boy watch?

I like to draw lines.

It is very pleasant that I imagine where the line flies to.



The border

Needless to say, the West and the Orient are totally different culture.
When I draw a picture, I feel that I seem to stand on those border.

Why?
I don't know the reason why I feel it so.
I only feel it so.
I have never confirmed the existence of those border.

I think if I was born in 19th century, I wouldn't feel it so.

Every history give me an opportunity of thinking.

As a child

 As a child, I thought that various things are mysterious, and I didn't have much understanding of own language.

 But for my brothers and sisters's help, I could not take things easy.

 Fortunately all my families had a very bright character and they didn’t take things complicatedly.

When I draw

I have been drawing  many lines since my childhood.
It's becoming many many many lines like a mountain.
It is  pleasant for me that I draw a line.
I talk to me when draw.
"You must not lose your way.
You must lead the people who watch your drawing to your point of view."

This thought is important and also difficult for me.

thinking about the composition

I have been thinking about the composition of the Christmas card of this year.　I think that how to draw light and shadows.　

I love lively atmospheres of Christmas.

Flower girls

They are always cheerful well

These girls are neighboring three sisters.
They are always cheerful well.
I drew this drawing 5 years ago.


Now, they became junior and senior high school students.

Time ran so fast.

In my childhood, my elder sister and me.

Dog sled

"犬橇(Japanese)" is same as "Dog sled(Engish)" .
"犬(it means dog)".
"橇(it means sled)".

"橇" is one character. but this character "橇" is so interesting.
Because, a part of this character "木" means tree . and other part of it "毛"　means hair.

The habit of sticking

 I have the habit of sticking my drawing on a notebook.
 Therefore my notebook is thick.

Graduation photograph

This is a graduation photograph of the junior high school of my grandfather. Perhaps it was taken 100 years ago. Unfortunately, I can't understand who is my grandfather. because it is too too old.

 But this photograph teaches me something.

Neighborhood Mrs.W

When I was a little child, neighborhood Mrs.W taught me a character in her house.

If she was alive, she would be around 100 years old. She taught me a lot of things.

A friend who always read a book

I have a friend who always read a book.
I think that it's impossible to keep away a book from him.

I had gone for a walk with my dog every day.

I kept the medium-size dog in childhood. His Running was very fast and his jump power was also wonderful.
Before keeping the dog, I was an introverted child.
But, I had gone for a walk with him every day. And then, my character changed very much.

Observation

There is a big park near my home and a lot of birds live in there. I like sketching them.
A few days ago, when I observed them,they observed me. It was so interesting and funny.

Two little girls

I imagined the people of the Edo period and drew it.

Tsunnagou and rice porridge

I grew up near the trace of old castle in West Japan.
  As a child, I was not  interested in an old history of that castle.
After wasting long time， I read a book written about my hometown's history and
 It was shocking to me.

About 300 years ago, there was a famine, and The feudal lord had decide to distribute rice porridge in the castle to the people who starved.
Many many many people came on foot to the castle to get food .

Please imagine,
the  famine had come.
it was in Edo era,
of course, there were no cars and no train.
If  you want to survive,
you must walk ...you must walk long way, even though you are starving....

Many many many people had come on foot to the castle to get food.
They helped each other hand in hand while walking to the castle.
 This cooperation became the song and stays until the times of the next.
  "Tsunnagou, tsunnagou, Arato no hamamade tsunnagou…/つんなごう、つんなごう、荒戸の浜までつんなごう"

  This song is singing
"Let's go to the castle for our surviving!
walk together hand in hand.
(survive,Please survive...)"
We can't see the grammatical subject anywhere in this song..

  Though they starved for food, their minds were so warm.
  About a third of the population of the town, died in this famine.
If their minds were weak, I think this town had disappeared at that time.
What do we have to think?
rethink and rethink....

I can not draw such a scenery even if I love drawing very much..

Today....am thinking about terror of the starvation and feeling human warm mind....

A smile

A few years ago,
My grandmother and aunt died. I drew this picture afterwards. This woman resembles them very closely. I didn't intend to draw such a picture. However, I drew a similar woman . It was a wonder.

It is difficult for me to paint a picture in a color,
if anything, I draw only line drawing.
However, I like pictures of Monet all the time from my infancy. Because the color of  his work is so beautiful.

In front of his work, I prostrate myself.

I think that it would be fun if a mouse wore a Japanese kimono(It's impossible that such a thing happen).
There are some Japanese old tales that mouses appear.

The Seven Deities of Good Luck( 七福神 ).

This is the Treasure Ship which the Seven Deities of Good Luck step on. So many Japanese like the Seven Deities of Good Luck( 七福神 : sitifukujin ). I am a Japanese, but it is hard for me to draw a Japanese classic thing.

From now on I  intend to draw it a little .

Like sesame small

I like drawing portrait of persons　very much.

and I always tend to draw eyes like sesame small.

I have a habit of drawing Christmas cards in november.So many people like to make merry in Christmas.
I like such a scine.
